Short Summary:
The main responsibility of this position is the cleaning, loading and offloading of trucks.
Responsibilities:
• The cleaning and loading of the trucks to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency
• The cleaning of tanks
• Ensure that all loads are covered after loading
• Washing of cans, drums and flow bins and filter bags
• Cleanliness of the loading and offloading areas of all incoming bulk oil and oil cake trucks
• Cleaning of loading equipment, stores and wash bay according to the master cleaning schedule
• Will report all quality, health and safety-related problems immediately to Dispatch Supervisor
• Assist Dispatch Supervisor and Team Leader with ad hoc tasks
• Will comply with safety, food safety, and environmental procedure and as per SOILL Policy. It can be expected from all employees to be appointed with certain responsibilities as required by OSHact, food safety regulations and environmental regulations
Key Competencies:
Education and skills
• Grade 12
• Literate in Afrikaans or English
• No specialized previous experience required
• Interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work in a team and alone
• Good time management
• Be disciplined and reliable
• Forklift experience will be an advantage
