The Canola plant bears a bright yellow little flower that when it blooms during July to September paints the environment into beautiful yellow valleys. The seed comes from pods.

Our flagship brand is B-Well. The B-Well Canola Oil is the only oil sold in South Africa that is endorsed by CANSA. Some of the imported Canola Oil has been genetically modified but Canola Oil produced in SA is 100% GM free. Southern Oil has diversified into the manufacture of other edible oils and related products. Other brands include Fry-Well, a less expensive and yet high quality oil, Cater-Well, a specialist frying oil supplied to the catering trade and Canega, a product for the Equine market. We supply the animal feed industry with our high protein Canola Oil Cake

Southern Oil Limited is now an established company and is currently in its 10th year of production. Today, we can say with pride that the company is well established in the marketplace. B-Well Canola Oil achieved 9.8% of edible oil sales in Pick & Pay in 2008. A few of our other clients are Woolworths, Ina Paarman, Unilever, Nestle, Spur, Continental and Epic.

SOILL stands for health, quality, a respect for the environment and for the community. The company strives to grow, not only financially but also in the development of the workforce, the community and the customers.
